The idea of the project generated due to a manual sheet metal sheering machine in workshop of our college. The objective of the project is to prepare a machine which cuts sheet metal without human efforts but operates pneumatically. The piston is connected to the moving cutting tool. Since two operations that is cutting and punching can be performed on the same platform it significantly reduces the production time. The table also includes the two way directional valve. The compressed air moves the blades of machine to cut the sheet of metal. The sheet metal cutting machine works with the help of pneumatic double acting cylinder.

Pneumatic sheet metal cutting machine mechanical project is made by ishu mertia lalit kumar sharma and manish kumawat student of jaipur engineering collag. The machine consists of a pneumatic cylinder fabricated with a linking joint attached to it. Since two operations that is cutting and punching can be performed on the same platform it significantly reduces the production time. It is used to cut the small size of the sheet metal.

Compressed air is used as working media. This joint is assembled with a cutter blade.
